Meet our Instructors

Our instructors are all dedicated fans of bikes and biking. Riding is their passion as well as their profession so enthusiasm comes as standard on our training courses!
Each instructor has their own informative but fun style when presenting the courses - but they all adhere to the highest standards set by our Governing Body, the Driving Standards Agency

Ian
Ian is a highly experienced instructor with over 10 years in the industry. He has a wide experience of the test centres in and around London and mainly concentrates on DAS and further training. If anyone can persuade you to pass Ian can, but he's not as scary as he looks, honest. He builds excellent working relationships with students who always enjoy his teaching and his appreciation of a good lunch. He's been riding since penny farthings were motorised.

Graeme
Graeme started his instructing career with Get Bike in mid 2003. Originally from Northern Ireland, Graeme used to work in suits before deciding to do something he actually likes for a living. He's been riding bikes for around 30 years and you may find him teaching just about any course from DAS to CBT and back to biking.

Chris
Chris has been with the company for around two years the last 6 months of which have seen him move into the training side of things. You will probably meet him if you come down for CBTs or other pre-test training. His hobbies are eating, talking, eating, shopping and eating.

Dave
Dave is the newest member of the instructing team. An ex-studio engineer who evidently decided that working with motorcyclists is preferable to working with musicians, Dave obviously has difficulty with frying pans and fires. He's very friendly and approachable and will gently guide you through your CBT. He's been riding for around 6 years and remembers better than the other old senile instructors what it's like taking to two wheels for the first time.

Mark
Mark has been riding motorcycles since they were invented. Starting his motorcycling career as a despatch rider, Mark has picked up a good knowledge of how to stay safe on two wheels and passes this on to everyone he trains. He also occasionally writes reviews for various motorcycle manufacturers on the latest new motorcycles (must be an awful job)! Mark can put even the most nervous students at ease and says "Teaching someone to ride on a moped or motorcycle is no different to your parents teaching you to ride your first bicycle. Calling me Daddy is optional".
