Getting onto two wheels can be quite a challenge. You have to choose the right motorcycle for your needs, find out what the law says you can and can't do and what training courses must be undertaken.

We are often asked such questions - and more - by new riders who are keen to start riding but often don't know where to begin. Our range of motorcycle training courses offer a complete answer to your training needs.

COMPULSORY BASIC TRAINING ( Motorcyle Training - CBT )
The first step towards riding a bike on the road. This is a one-day course, which allows riders to get onto the road with L-plates.

DAY TWO ROAD RIDE
This motorcycle training course is designed to follow on from the CBT course. It is ideal for people who wish to develop their road skills further, or convert to a different type of motorcycle and would benefit from the extra time spent with an Instructor.

(Motorcycle Training A2) STANDARD COURSE
This motorcycle course prepares the rider for the standard test. It is taken on a 125cc machine and a test pass results in a full licence, but restricted to 33hp machines for two years.

DIRECT ACCESS ( Motorcycle training - DAS )
This motorcycle training course allows riders, who are over 21, to take their test on a 500cc machine. A test pass results in an unrestricted licence.
